Future Care Cost Analysis & Life Care Planning - Defined

Future care cost analysis is a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach which systematically addresses the medical and non medical needs of a person with a catastrophic injury or illness and projects the costs of needed items and services over the person’s estimated life span. Along with the costs associated with the disabling condition, replacement schedules and frequency of treatment are also delivered.

Future care costs are specific to the individual and disability and not generalized to a type of injury or disability.

A report will itemize and quantify all the recommendations with respect to the various services, prescriptions, and other items recommended to the clients by the professionals involved in their care, including their medical team.

A report will include items and services to allow the client to maintain his/her independence, that would allow him/her to maintain good health, reduce medical complications, increase physical functions, promote independence and maintain a reasonable quality of life

Future Care Cost Analysis/Life Care Plan

This is a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessments, data analysis and research, which provides an organized concise plan for current and future needs. It also outlines the reasonable and necessary costs associated with these needs for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs.

We complete Future Care Cost Assessments in a way that reflects the needs of the catastrophically ill or injured to insure that the plan adequately funds the client from the onset of disability through life expectancy.
